The WhIte Stone of Brač

While walking through the narrow streets of Split, I watched the sunset transform the limestone walls into pure gold. This painting is a record of that specific moment when stone doesn’t just reflect light, but seems to store it within and radiate it back out. To me, this glow represents the unextinguished life energy of our ancient cities—a moment where cold stone warms and the past embraces the present. It is a humble tribute to the timeless warmth at the heart of the Adriatic.

The sun never knew how wonderful it was until it fell on the wall of a building.

AdrIatIc PrIsm

This piece captures the specific moment sunlight pierces the incredibly clear surface of the sea near my home. The water here acts like a lens, breaking the white light into dancing beams of turquoise and emerald that glide deep into the blue silence. I wanted to paint not the surface of the water, but the illuminated depth beneath it.
