GIlded ReflectIons of the Blue
This work is an abstract map of a memory the exact moment the sun breaks through a light coastal mist. I used the gold foil to represent the sudden, brilliant sparks of light that dance on the Adriatic surface, almost like hidden treasures floating in the deep. It is a celebration of the ‘preciousness’ of our everyday surroundings, where the warmth of the land and the cooling spray of the sea collide in a vibrant, golden spray.

The SapphIre SentInel
This painting represents the protective embrace of our coastal towns. The deep sapphire walls act as a bridge between the wild, unpredictable sea and the warm safety of our homes under their red-tiled roofs. I used gold outlines to show that even in the shadows of the harbor, there is a constant, precious thread of light guiding us back home. It is a portrait of the peace that settles over the harbor just as the boats find their moorings for the night.
